When it comes to ride-hailing, it’s natural to feel some apprehension about getting into a stranger’s car. While we believe ride-hailing services like Lyft and Uber are safe, we understand you might want an even safer option for your child, a family member with special needs, or a senior parent.
Dallas-based ride-hailing service Bubbl is all about safety, going as far as to employ active or retired certified first responders as its drivers. According to its website, all drivers working for Bubbl are trained to protect and serve.
Bubbl says its drivers are “prepared to ‘bubbl wrap’ your loved ones out on the road and around town.”
Among Bubbl’s drivers are firefighters, medics, military personnel and medical professionals.
“By blending the ease of technology with the best in transportation, you can rest assured knowing that your children and family members are going to be completely safe when they are wrapped in a bubbl,” the company’s website states. “Should a Bubbl driver observe a felony violation or an act of family violence, it is their responsibility to report the incident to the local authorities immediately.”
Bubbl serves 55 North Texas zip codes, including the Legacy area, as well as the areas of Fort Worth and Round Rock.
Bubbl’s services extend beyond those of a typical ride-hailing app. Bubbl Kids offers rides for children between 8 and 17-years-old; Bubbl Dash is a secure delivery service; and a Bubbl Hourly Driver will stay with you and take you wherever you need to go on an hourly rate.
