The LegacyConnect board is comprised of professionals who work in the Legacy Area and live in Plano. Vetted specifically for their experience in transportation, environmental concerns, human resources, medicine - and the digital frontier, among other industries - our board has a vast amount of experience and helps to guide LegacyConnect into the future of mobility in the Legacy Area.

Peter Braster

City of Plano (Treasurer)

Peter was named the City of Plano’s Director of Special Projects and currently oversees the ongoing redevelopment of Downtown Plano; is the ombudsman for the $3 billion Legacy West development; and will lead the City’s retail redevelopment program.

Peter has over 30 years of public and private experience. He began his career in civil engineering by working on large transportation projects including several highway, airport, and light rail systems in New York and California.

He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the North Texas Urban Land Institute TOD Product Council, and the International Economic Development Council.

Jaycie ChitwooD

Toyota Motor North America

Jaycie focuses on Digital Transformation and Mobility and she has been at Toyota for 19 years, beginning in corporate long-range planning and consumer market research roles.  She then spent almost 15 years working on the product ecosystem for alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) – including technical and consumer research, regulatory affairs, product planning, and infrastructure readiness. This included developing shared-use and station-car programs using AFVs. 

For the past two years she has been in Toyota Motor North America’s Digital Transformation and Mobility department. This role involves developing overall strategy for non-traditional mobility business models for Toyota, as well as implementing new mobility pilots that include car sharing and commuting. Jaycie is passionate about the environment, and is part of Toyota’s environmental sustainability working group. This group is responsible for developing action plans and targets to reduce GHG emissions, reduce waste and water use, and enhance biodiversity.

Tom Harrington

Intuit Workplace

Intuit recognizes the responsibility to provide responsible commute alternatives for workers. Tom manages these programs for Intuit in the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. As such, all of Intuit's US sites qualify as a 2019 Best Workplaces for Commuters and in 2018 Intuit’s TDM program was recognized for Employer Excellence by the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT).  

 

Tom is active in multiple local TMA's and Transportation Demand Management efforts including: the Mountain View TMA (MVgo); San Mateo County Commute.org; iCommute; the San Diego Association for Governments (SANDAG); the Travel Reduction Workgroup of the PIMA Association of Governments in Tucson (PAG); the Northern California Chapter of ACT; and the ACT Employer Council

 

Tom is also responsible for commute programs in Edmonton AB, Sao Palo Brazil, London England and Paris France.  Tom is currently engaged in building up commute programs in Petach Tikva, Israel.

Ignacio Herrera

KDC (Chair)

Ignacio N. Herrera has been a Project Manager with KDC – Real Estate Development & Investments in the Design and Construction group since 2015.  In his role, he participates in KDC’s project team in the development of commercial office build-to-suits. Prior to KDC, he had 14 years of experience in civil engineering consulting managing design for a wide variety of private development projects (domestic and international), and infrastructure for the public sector.  He is a Texas licensed Professional Engineer and a LEED Accredited Professional.   

Mr. Herrera is active with the Urban Land Institute’s Industrial & Office Product Council (North Texas), and Chairman of the Board of Directors of  non-profit Turtle Creek Recovery Center.  He is also an alumni of the Dallas Regional Chamber’s Leadership Dallas program.  

A native of Tampico, Mexico, Mr. Herrera holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, a Master Degree in Hydrology from CEDEX Madrid, and a Master of Business Administration from the SMU Cox School of Business.  Ignacio and his wife Michelle are parents to a young son.

Dr. Tyler Krohn

Children’s Health

Tyler D. Krohn, M.D., M.B.A. is Vice President of Northern Market Operations at Children’s Health where he oversees the operation of assets north of Dallas, including the Children’s Health Medical Center Plano. As a senior leader, he collaborates with other leaders across the organization to ensure successful execution of the enterprise strategy. Prior to joining Children’s Health, Dr. Krohn was a consultant at Bain & Company where he was active in the health care practice. Before embarking on his business career, Dr. Krohn was a board-certified pediatrician practicing medicine across the continuum of care.

After his medical training at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Dr. Krohn was Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles before leaving to start Tyler D. Krohn, M.D., Inc. Founded as a private medical practice, the company grew into a multi-services firm providing professional medical services to Cedars-Sinai, Providence Health & Services, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles as well as management consulting services to a variety of health care clients. Dr. Krohn then went to Emory University and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as a clinical fellow in pediatric critical care where he managed a 30-bed Level 1 PICU with a multi-disciplinary medical team of ~30 providers and directed one of the nation’s largest pediatric transport programs. While there, he had extensive experience with medical devices and biopharmaceuticals and collaborated with the Georgia Institute of Technology in the research and development of cardiopulmonary bypass technologies. Prior to joining Bain, he returned to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles as a physician in the Division of Hospital Medicine and Physician Advisor to the Chief Medical Director. In his administrative role, Dr. Krohn was involved in clinical operations and strategy, including the development and management of a care coordination program and clinical documentation improvement process.

Dr. Krohn received a Bachelor of Science magna cum laude in health care from Vanderbilt University. He received his Medical Doctorate from the Keck School of Medicine and received a Master of Business Administration with honors from the Marshall School of Business, both at the University of Southern California.

Michael Lawson

Boeing Global Services

Mike Lawson is Senior Manager of Boeing Global Engagement (BGE), managing Boeing’s corporate giving and charitable donation programs for Texas and Louisiana. He currently sits on the board of directors for the Plano Chamber of Commerce.

Mike has been with The Boeing Company since 2004. Prior to joining BGE, Mike served as the Senior Manager of Contracts for Government Satellite Systems located in El Segundo, CA. While in CA, Mike served on the board of Boeing’s Employee Community Fund of Southern California, an employee-owned and managed fund benefitting local non-profits.

Glenn Lickstein

Gaedeke Group LLC 

Glenn S. Lickstein has been a member of the Gaedeke Group senior management team since the firm was founded. Prior to his involvement with Gaedeke Group, Mr. Lickstein was responsible for the treasury and accounting functions of Performance Properties, LLC. He also provided investor reporting, risk management, and other services for SHL Management Company's portfolio of over 10,000 apartment units and 2 million square feet of office space. Mr. Lickstein has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Tyler Munger

Liberty Mutual Insurance

Tyler manages of the Liberty Mutual Service Delivery department responsible for building operations at their US office locations.

Management of employee commuter programs and transportation demand management has been one of the  responsibilities associated with this field. He served as one of the founding members of the Greater Redmond Transportation Management Association in Redmond, Washington and served on the Board as President. Under Ty’s management, businesses and organizations he’s worked with have been 5-time recipient of the Governor’s Commute Smart Award, 9-time recipients of the State of Washington Commuter Challenge Diamond Award and have earned recognition by the EPA at the Best Workplace for Commuters for three consecutive years.  Most recently, he was responsible for creating the employee commuter and parking programs to support the new Liberty Mutual Insurance campus in Plano, Texas.

He is a graduate of the University of Washington, where he received a BA in architecture. Tyler launched his professional career at the Boeing Commercial Airplane company in their architectural department where he supported commercial property development. That eventually led to expanded roles in real estate management at Safeco Insurance and later Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Todd Plesko

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART)

Todd is the Vice President of Planning and Development and brings more than three decades of experience in transportation planning and development to his position directing a broad range of program development functions for DART. He is responsible for the Planning and Development Department which includes the direction of two Divisions: Service Planning and Scheduling, and Mobility Programs Development.
 

Specific functions of the department include: planning and development; bus/rail service monitoring, planning and scheduling; planning and preliminary design for bus and HOV facilities; and engineering and operation of the HOV system in cooperation with the Texas Department of Transportation

Lissa Smith

FedEx Office

Lissa Smith has made her home in Plano since 1990. After she arrived in Plano, she knew that it would take more than just living here to call it home, she wanted to be an active participant in the community and over the years she has worked hard to make that idea a reality.

Lissa has been a longtime community activist and Collin County civic leader. With each opportunity she had to volunteer her time and talents, she helped contribute to the betterment of Plano with her dedication, knowledge and proven ability to get things accomplished.

Lissa has served with numerous boards and organizations including the North Texas Commission Board of Directors, the Plano Symphony Board of Directors, Collin County Healthcare Foundation Advisory Board, Hope’s Door Board of Directors, the Junior League of Plano and Collin College Foundation Board of Directors to name a few.

Due to her extensive experience in Plano and other North Texas communities, State Senator Florence Shapiro asked Lissa to join her staff in 1999.  Lissa served as district director for Texas State Senator Shapiro until Senator Shapiro’s retirement in 2013, gaining extensive knowledge of regional, state and national government relations. 

In 2009, Lissa was elected to her first term on the City Council.  She was re-elected in 2013 and served as Mayor Pro Tem from 2012 until the end of her Council career in 2017. During her Council tenure, she served as President of the North Central Texas Council of Governments, co-chair of the Dallas Regional Mobility Coalition, and represented Plano on the Regional Transportation Council. 

In her professional role, Lissa serves as the Community Relations Advisor for FedEx Office which is headquartered in Plano. In 2018, she was appointed by the cities of Plano and Farmers Branch to serve on the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Board of Directors.  She also continues to serve the community on the Medical City Plano Advisory Board, the Junior Achievement of Dallas Board of Directors and is the Chair-elect of the Board of Directors of the Plano Chamber of Commerce.

Lissa’s dedication to strengthening her community has been recognized by numerous organizations. She was named one of the “21 Leaders for the 21st Century” by Inside Collin County Business, she was selected as one of the inaugural members of the North Texas Commission’s Leadership North Texas class and she was a recipient of the Collin County League of United Latin American Citizens Civic Award.

While attending the University of North Texas, Lissa met her husband, Bill.  They have two children, Blake and Alexis.

Commissioner Duncan Webb

Collin County

Duncan Webb was born in Dallas, Texas, and has been a resident of Plano, Texas since 1983. Mr. Webb received his B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University in 1977 and his J.D. from Southern Methodist University in 1980. He is the sole shareholder of the law firm of Webb & Webb, P.C., practicing as an attorney in Dallas and Plano since 1980. Duncan Webb began serving Collin County Precinct 4 in 2011.

 

In 1998, Mr. Webb was elected to the Board of Trustees of the Plano Independent School District, where he served four, three-year terms. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for Medical Center of Plano and serves as its Chairman. He has served on several community boards and committees including City of Plano Library Advisory Board (Chair for two years), Assistance Center of Collin County Board (Chair for one year), The Classics Board (President for one year), Practical Parent Education Advisory Board, Plano Family YMCA Board, PISD Key Communicators and Christ United Methodist Church Executive Committee and Building Committee (Chair). 

Mr. Webb and his wife, Beth, have two daughters, Heather (graduated from Texas A&M in 2010) and Melissa (attends Texas A&M). The Webb family was honored by the Plano Family YMCA as the 1997 Plano Family of the Year. In 2009, the Plano Chamber of Commerce selected and honored Mr. Webb and his wife as “Plano’s Citizens of the Year for 2008.
